Nelson Mandela International Day

No one is born hating another person because of the color of his skin, or his background, or his religion. People must learn to hate, and if they can learn to hate, they can be taught to love, for love comes more naturally to the human heart than its opposite. (Mandela)

I am grateful to have met Mandela twice and that I had a conversation with the Nobel Prize winner and anti-Apartheid icon at the celebrations for his 90th birthday, when I got his signature.

My daughter Katia and her group Seguindo Sonhos were happy to sing the song for Madiba that I composed a few days earlier.

Rest in Peace Mandela
